Price: ¥1,480 for each player, including tax, paid once. For customers in the United States, US$20 plus any tax that applies. This covers one measurement, the report, the challenge sheet and two online interviews. It does not include a second measurement.
Other costs: You pay for your own internet connection. To play, you also need your own computer and controller.
Payment method: Credit card
When you pay: We choose the families for the open alpha test from the applications we receive, reviewing them as they arrive, and only the families we choose pay. You pay once, when you start in the portal after you are chosen. Nothing renews, and there are no further charges.
When the service starts: You can use MARBLS as soon as the payment is complete.
Term: The open alpha test runs for about a month, from the first play session to the second online interview. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
Refunds: Because MARBLS is a digital service, we do not refund a payment once it is made. This does not apply when we cannot provide the service because of a problem on our side.
System requirements: Game: a computer running Windows 11, or macOS 12 Monterey or later (Apple silicon or Intel), with 8 GB of memory and 1 GB of free storage; on Windows, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or better; an Xbox controller or any XInput controller; and an internet connection. Portal: a modern web browser on a computer or phone with an internet connection.
